| TIPS FROM AN ESTEEMED COLLEAGUE
|

In the Southampton Superstore we have just booked 2 weddings....Having just come back from my own 'Azul Fives' and 'Azul Beach' holiday with my family, I was able to help my staff confirm the holidays for our customers. I managed to see all the hotels, as Karisma arranged a site inspection of all their hotels on one of the days in Mexico. It means I now have knowledge of every property, the different restaurants and room categories. One thing for sure is that all their hotels are amazing and unique in their own way....
The first Wedding we booked recently, the customers came in and said that they wanted to get married in Mexico in Jan 2014, had a £5k budget and had seen Eldorado Royale, but thought that it would probably go over their budget. I helped my colleague to bring the hotels to life and I subtly dropped in the Casita's...and then showed them my own pictures of the swim up suites etc. The Groom immediately said that was exactly what they wanted and it ticked all boxes. They did spend over £7k in the end including their Wedding package. The moral of the story is 'don't be shy to offer above what they want to spend'... The Dreamliner flights and wedding at the Casita's...what more could you ask for.
 The second wedding that we booked was to Azul Beach. ... They also wanted the Sky Wedding on the roof. I went in and said that Nicki should show the customers the Azul Beach as I knew it had the option of the Sky Wedding (think thats what its called)....and the Bride immediately loved the look of the property. Its 148 rooms, small and intimate and the hotel is really close to the beach. The service at this hotel is amazing, and although there are only 148 rooms, you have 5 restaurant options. My best being the Asian with a floating Sushi Bar....has to be experienced! The other big plus at this hotel is that only book one wedding per day, and the cost of the wedding was a lot less . They put this money in to upgrading their room to a Jacuzzi Suite . This booking is going to grow as family is starting to add on. AZUL BEACH is my absolute favourite Azul hotel. Sell it with confidence.
